Wanting to avoid the "Zoom University" experience was what sold me completely on a gap year, but I decided to take a year off for a number of reasons. I graduated feeling burnt out and unsure about my coming years -- I wanted to get a better idea of where I want to be, to learn to detach my value from productivity, and to miss the classroom a bit. Even though I'm not eating souvlaki in Greece or pho in Vietnam right now like I'd dreamed, I think I made the right choice for me. Take a look at what I'm up to:
